Terms, Cancellations & Refunds

These terms apply when you buy from The Steel Box, Ammathi–Ontiangadi Road, Ammathi 571211, Kodagu, Karnataka, through thesteelbox.com. By placing an order you agree to them.

Products and prices

• Many of our products are handmade or made in small batches, so colour, size and finish can vary slightly from the photos. These small variations are part of what makes them handmade, and they are not defects.
• Prices are in Indian Rupees. The total you pay, including shipping, is shown at checkout before you pay.
• Stock is limited. If an item sells out after you order, we'll tell you and refund that item in full.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or bank details. Your order is confirmed once payment succeeds.

Cancellations

You can cancel your order any time before it is dispatched for a full refund. Email [email protected] or WhatsApp +91 72599 96047 with your order number. Once an order has been dispatched it can't be cancelled.

Returns: damaged or wrong items

Because most of what we sell is handmade, we don't accept returns if you've simply changed your mind. But if something goes wrong, we'll put it right:

• If your item arrives damaged, defective or isn't what you ordered, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging.
• We'll offer a replacement (if we have stock) or a full refund for that item. If we ask you to send it back, we'll cover the return shipping.

Refunds

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. We start the refund within 2 working days of approving it, and banks usually take 5–7 working days to show it in your account.

The text, photos and logos on this website belong to The Steel Box, or are used with permission. Please don't reuse them without asking.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Kodagu, Karnataka.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies.
